      Uy skweyul! My traditional name is Sial’tun aut. I am a member of the Stz’uminus First Nation. My parents are Charlotte Sampson-Elliott and John Elliott. My English name is Amanda Elliott. I have a BA degree in Psychology and History and a BEd Degree specialized in elementary grades. This is my 2nd year teaching Junior Kindergarten. I’m so excited to be working at the Primary School surrounded by friends and family! I am thrilled to bring as much of our culture and Hulquminum into the class as I can. I wake up every day eager to teach and support my Junior K. students to grow academically and socially!

      My name is Jeanette S. I am a teacher and Education Assistant her at Stz’uminus Primary. In the mornings my roll is to learn Hul’qumi’num and in the afternoon I teach Junior Kindergarten. I look forward to working with all the children.

      I am so happy to be teaching grade three at Stz’uminus Primary School.
      This is my 4th year at the school. Previously, I taught grades 3 to 7 in North Vancouver for 12 years.
      I am working hard to learn as much hul’q’umi’num’ as possible.
      I like art and camping and the outdoors.
      I live on a farm with my husband and two little boys. I have three grown children.
      We have  goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and wild peacocks on our farm.

      My name is Brett E.  I am from Cedar, and I now live in Saltair.  I have been working for Stz’uminus Primary School for 12 years now.  This year I am really excited to be working as the Grade 2 teacher.  It’s going to be a great year!

      Hi my name is Beverly D. I am the Hul’qumi’num Language Teacher. in September I’ve started teaching Hul’qumi’num to four teachers daily. I also provide language classes to the Jk-Grade 3 classrooms one day per week. I’ve been a  Hul’qumi’num Teacher for 17 years. Huychqa Beverly.

I have had great pleasure working for the Stz’uminus First Nations for the past 10 years and am looking forward to many more. I am currently working in the Grade 1 class this year.
